Job description/Mission
Within SAP Support Organization (SSO) we are looking for a SAP Technical Analyst to join the global team to provide SAP Application Management Support (AMS) to various Atlas Copco business units using SAP out of APAC service hub located in Shanghai, China.
You will be part of SSO Technical Team and will be responsible to provide second and third level SAP technical support to SSO AMS internal customers globally.
Your main responsibilities and activities will be:
?Incident monitoring and handling in SSO service Desk, analysis and resolution according to SLA and OLA
?User setup, creation of roles and authorization profile and assignment
?Regularly monitor and support ALE, RFC and IDOC Interfaces with internal and external partner systems and error handling
?Printer setup within SAP troubleshooting including output and forms support
?Batch job setup and administration
?Technical problem management, troubleshooting, Root cause Analysis, Debugging
?SAP application performance analysis and tuning
?SAPGui and Front-end support together with local IS/IT
?Transport execution, analysis and release to production
?SAP OSS message logging, follow-up and SAP notes and recommendation implementation
?Pro-and reactive monitoring of the landscape (checking the logs, analyzing the ABAP dumps, monitoring vital signs etc.)
?Mass data upload and change (LSMW, Batch Input etc.)
?Implementation of technical Change Request and responsible for SAP BASIS part of change management including authorization, transports and release management etc.
?Co-ordinate and collaborate with other parties internally and externally (Template and development team, Functional support, Outsourcing partner, Infrastructure team, Middleware etc.) to ensure proper support delivery.
?Participation in various internal SAP projects as required which will require limited travelling domestically and internationally
?Achieve high customer satisfaction by providing in-time and quality solution and clear communication
The position will report to the SSO Technical Teamleader.
Experience requirements
?Minimum 2 years in SAP Technical Support or SAP Basis Consultant role
?Involvement in an end-to-end SAP implementation project will be a plus
?Experience in working in a global environment will be a plus
Knowledge/Educational requirements
?University Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering or proven equivalent on-the-job experience
?Strong SAP Basis (SAP BC module) knowledge incl.:
- User Security & Authorization management
- SAP transport and release management
- ALE (Application Link Enabling), IDOC handling, RFC, partner profile setup, interface
- Printer Administration and Output Management
- Batch Job Administration
- LSMW, Batch Input, MASS change and ABAP query
- Program and application Debugging using ABAP debugger and trace tools
- SAP system monitoring, health check and tuning
- SAP GUI and Front-end support
- SAP OSS Message support and SAP Note implementation
?Overall good understanding of SAP Products, Components including different modules of SAP ERP
?Overall understanding of end-to-end Business processes used in Manufacturing Plant and Sales/Service
Companies
?Good overall ICT background
?IBM System i / BPCS knowledge will be a plus
?Fluent in English verbally and written is a must, other languages will be a plus
