Job Description - ASM
Role Summary:Responsible for all UPS business development activities within a define geographical territory
Process: Conversion, penetration, retention of account base
Direct Reports: All field resources assigned to territory
Reports To: Director – Enterprise Account Group, Business Development, China District
Location: Geographical Territory within a District
Role Accountabilities, Activities (Do):
Responsible for Business Development activities within an assigned territory, including resources, customer interactions, activities, and the Team’s Sales Plan objectives
Specific responsibilities include:
· Assist Group manager of Enterprise Account Group including Business Planning, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Staffing, etc.
· Works with the Sales Team to develop account strategies to position UPS solutions effectively
· Coordinate overlay Sales Specialist, cross-functional support and Subsidiaries Sales Resources to develop complex opportunities.
· Identify, observe, and measure the performance, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics of the Sales Team
· Effective and timely Sales Team communication
· Manage Sales Team’s time management activities
· Train, educate, develop and mentor assigned Team members to progress within the organization
· Motivate and influence activities of assigned resources to achieve desired goals and objectives
· Assess all facets of revenue performance for a specific territory
· Review and approve pricing agreements to ensure growth, compliance and profitability
· Work with subsidiary sales force to provide broad based solutions
· Convey information on marketplace competition and customer needs to the appropriate groups within the organization
· Communicating with other District Staff, Operation functions, and Inside Sales to ensure service and revenue goals are achieved
Requirment for the position
? Bachelors degree / MBA preferred in Management, Marketing, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
? Score of 6 or greater on the Accuvision Sales Assessment.
? Demonstrate strong sales aptitude by scoring 5 or higher on SSN/MMS sales assessment..
? Previous experience of having successful engagements with other UPS business subsidiaries including eCommerce.
? Demonstrates ability to sell to Senior-Level Executives.
? Minimum of four years of sales experience with UPS.
? Proven track record of making sales plan objectives in previous assignments.
