Job Description
Reporting to the China Finance & Administration Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring that transactions of a business have been properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company's accounting process. In addition, the position also requires provide office support services. He/she will lead a team of finance and administration. Specific duties include:
? Recording monthly journal entries into the general ledger system
? Monthly, quarterly and year-end closings and preparation of related financial statements via Chinese generally-accepted accounting principle
? Reconciliation of material financial statement accounts
? Record and maintain the fixed assets ledger system
? Review of accounts receivable and accounts payable vouchers
? Review of the purchases and sales journal and the cash receipts and disbursements journal
? Calculation and recording of depreciation, amortization and depletion
? Review of the cost of goods sold and inventory balances
? Review of the trial balance
? Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
? Account analyses and reconciliations
? Preparation and control over the monthly accounting closing schedule
? compilation of information and preparation of schedules required by internal and external auditors
? Provide necessary information for preparing budgets and forecasts
? Lead the preparation and coordination of the audit process
? Contribute to the profitability of the company by assuring compliance with national, local tax laws which includes timely and accurate preparation tax returns, reports and payments
? Ensure proper accounting for income taxes
? Minimize exposures by monitoring, reviewing and analyzing tax laws and legislation to ensure compliance
? Assist and support tax audits of the company
? Identify tax savings products and tax efficiency opportunities
? Understand new laws and assess its impact on the company
? Member of ERP implementation team and is expected to escalate issues once identified
? Organize annual fixed asset count
? Establishes administrative policies, procedures, and schedules
? Provides communication systems by identifying needs, evaluating options, maintaining equipment and approving invoices
? Maintains a safe and secure work environment
? Purchases printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements and negotiating price, quality, and delivery
? Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements
? Responsible for office renovation process
? Interface with various departments
Job Requirement and Key Competencies
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA is a plus
* Strong technical accounting background
* At least five years finance & administration experience in a foreign-invested company
* Knowledgeable on business concepts and government regulations
* ERP experience is a must
* Excellent Excel and database skills
* Good command of English both oral and written
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Able to manage a team and have ability to work independently
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
* Must be able to perform multiple tasks
* Sound judgment
* Attention to detail and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
