ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work within existing GSO Quality System guidelines to identify and qualify appropriate Low-Volume/ High-Mix Suppliers, with emphasis on serving Aerospace, Medical and Oil & Gas market needs.
2. Provide other Quality & Sourcing services for the region including tracking implementation of all new projects from quotation thru production implementation and resolution of production issues.
3. Host Division Sourcing Leaders as required to introduce and qualify new suppliers.
4. Other duties may also be assigned as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering; MBA would be a plus.
2. Minimum 8 years of work experiences in Sourcing and Supplier Base Management, with broad knowledge in commodities such as Sheet Metal Fabrication, High Precision Machining, Surface Treatment.
3. Fluent in quality systems and standards (i.e. ISO 9000, TS 16949) and quality tools (i.e. PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA).
4. Fluent in English is a MUST.
