Job description:
1) Works closely with system administrators,management, and technical staff to provide successful and timely resolutioninvolving ITM/Net cool relevant issues.
2) Responsible for the configuration, management, maintenance and maturation ofthe ITM/Netcool product suite.
3) Perform technical leadership duties for Tools operations and integrationefforts.
4) Candidate must be able to use IBM Tools and integrate COTS products withinmultiple environments.
5) Candidate will also be responsible for carrying out day-to-day activitiesrequiring direct customer interactions.
6) Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerningassigned products and the underlying technologies.
7) Experience in examining, investigating and solving dynamic problems withability to think "out-of-the-box" and develop creative solutions.
8) Ability to quickly review and isolate problems within the infrastructure
9) Maintain detailed knowledge and currency of otherSystems Management products and toolsets as supported and used by thedeployment team.
10) Escalate product problems via official productsupport line (Tivoli Brand)
Qualifications:
1)Possess a minimum of 3 years'experience in a client/server environment, includingtechnical architecture, network management, application development,middleware, database management, and operations.
2)Experience to implement, maintain, support and operate system management toolsin one or more of the following area:
? IBM TivoliMonitoring (ITM), TEC, Omnibus
? ITCAM
? TADDM
? TBSM
3)Candidate with relevant experience with HP Openview, BMC Patrol, and CAUnicenter will also be considered.
4)Experience with unix operating system
5) Knowledge and hands-onexperience with the following
? FTP
?SSH
? Shell/Perl scripting
? SNMP
? DNS
? LDAP
6) Experience with network management, particularlyfamiliarity with ITM/Netcool
products
7) Experience with databases including SQL, Oracle,MySQL Knowledge and DB2 of web technologies will be preferred
8) English: Fluent
