POSITION: Financial Accountant

REPORTING TO: Financial Controller

RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for the maintaining and producing a full set of monthly financial management accounts for head office.
Responsible for the division's Payroll processing.


1 AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1.1 Producing accurate timely monthly financial reports for Head Office
1.2 Maintaining the integrity of the financial accounts
1.3 Payroll preparation and reconciliation of local and expat staff salaries including
1.4 Maintain & remit all employee statutory obligations and entitlements
1.5 Monthly preparation and review of the Profit Take Up for the China division
1.6 Monthly review of the accruals
1.7 Head office account audit
1.8 Monthly Cash flow
1.9 Finance analysis
1.10 Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts
1.11 Reconciliation of the monthly VAT Liability
1.12 Month end process to ensure deadlines are met for Accounts Close Off
1.13 Other duties as requested from time to time

2 PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

2.1 CPA Qualified


3 EXPERIENCE

3.1 Minimum 5 years working experience
3.2 Experience in dealing with foreign companies will be considered favourably.
3.3 Foreign currency exposure required
3.4 Payroll experience required


4 SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

4.1 Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
4.2 Possess good written and oral English communication skills
4.3 Ability to work under minimal supervision and (at times) under pressure.
4.4 Flexibility with regard to varied workload and constant deadlines.
4.5 Being reliable, trustworthy and dependable in performing the above tasks
4.6 Accurate with good attention to detail
4.7 Absolute discretion and utmost reliability
