Reporting to the General Manager in China and the Program Manager in China, you will direct program management of new product introductions and current product maintenance, in order to comply with internal and customer timing, cost, product design, and APQP requirements.

1. Interacts with customers to establish design specifications and program timing requirements for glob program. Develops and maintains program timelines.

2. Applies expert knowledge in the evaluation and development of products for optimum performance and manufacturability.

3. Provides project management of new product introductions. Supports APQP process per responsibilities defined in the APQP procedures.

4. Initiates and manages product and/or process changes as needed to support customer directives, improve product performance and quality, resolve manufacturing problems, decrease costs, etc.

5. Solve complex production problems, including machine set-up and product development.

6. Initiates quotations, work orders and purchase orders for new product tooling.

7. Prepares all required product documentation or data.

8. Develops, or assists in the development of, Monroe policies, procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

1. Education: university graduate with mechanical engineering major or automotive major

2. Experience: 3 years relevant experience in the automotive industry. Experience with plastics is preferred. Experience with cluster or automotive interiors development is preferred.

3. Have a minimum of 3 years of global program management experience.

4. Good acknowledge of APQP process, understand design process and product development process.

5. Experience with precision molding, hot-stamping, pad print and heat-staking is preferred.

3. Solid experience at an MNC is advantageous.

4. Experience using CAD and UG is preferred.

5. Native Mandarin; Proficient English.

6. Willing to participate in international conference calls at night.

7. Professional communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and a good team player.

8. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project.

9. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA.

10. Good analytical and planning skills

11. Qualified to travel internationally.

12. A detailed, responsible and goal oriented personality is preferred.
