Job Objectives:
Area Manager: Ensure that all stores in east of china, the processes / guidelines are implemented and strictly followed by franchising are aligned with brand standard.

The position will cover plan & execute Geox’s growth strategy for East of China partnering cross-functionally with Business Development, Merchandising, Marketing & VM, Retail Operation.

Main Responsibility:
Business Development:
1. Manage and monitor franchising network performance (relocate and expand) to ensure short and long-term objectives are met.
2. To ensure the store location is compliance with brand positioning and image.

Merchandising:
1. Co-design and implement with franchising agreed action to drive customer growth, increase share of market and improve profitability and performance.
2. Responsible for ensuring dealers achieve their wholesale, stock, and retail sales targets as set by National Sales budget.

Retail Operation – Store Environment – Brand Image:
1. Be instrumental in communication between Retail and other departments (Retail Operations, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, VM, Logistics etc.), and make sure the brand guidelines is delivered to Franchising.
2. Work with marketing team to ensure franchising marketing activities fit with the broader marketing plans.
3. Ensure that all processes / guidelines developed by the Retail Operations / VM teams are implemented and strictly followed by franchising.

Service:
1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners
2. Manage ad hoc dealer and customer issues, including customer complaints in conjunction with the CRC
3. Support product and sales training for the franchising

Job Requriements:
1. University Degree or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 5 years of Retail Management experience.
3. Strong business acumen and skill-set which enables the management and staff to drive business goals.
4. Ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization.
5. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
6. Must possess excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and lead others and hold them accountable for results.
7. Must be able to travel.
