Currently, we are seeking a Project Director for an international Expo project to join the luxury consulting team. The Project Director will be responsible to help drive his/her team’s business in the realm of communications strategy and execution for the brands that we service. The Project Director will act as a key point person to manage the client relationship (Expo Pavilion and sponsoring brands), engaging sponsors, strategic planning, setting realistic goals for deliverables, approvals and timelines. He/she will also create and manage media relationships for the company and clients. He/She will need to be a proactive individual with team leadership capabilities and report directly to the executive management.

Job responsibilities include
· Provide senior level counsel to clients on a wide range of corporate communication needs, including crisis and issues management, corporate communications
· Have strong relationships with clients and serve as the go-to senior client contact and account team manager on clients.
· Develop and implement comprehensive programs and tactics, along with supporting materials
· Staff projects effectively and manage client expectations
· Project management for planning and promotion for the client
· Manage budgets, billing and client reporting
· Support RFP submissions and new client pitch processes and teams through research, brainstorming, industry and competitive analysis and stakeholder assessments


The ideal candidates will have / be:

· Minimum 6 - 8 years relevant experience (Client/Agency/Media), with Shanghai Expo experience is highly preferred
· Experience developing and implementing comprehensive programs and tactics, along with supporting materials
· Excellent relationship skills with internal teams and clients and an ability to generate results from all levels of the organization
· Understanding of the online and social media space, ability to link new media strategies to traditional corporate or marketing communications in a logical and compelling manner
· Both strategic and creative with strong local consumer insights.
· A desire and ability to coach and mentor staff
· Professional with a great attitude.
· Fluency in Chinese and English
