Purpose of role:
The role of this job is to provide support to the Franchise Account Manager to enable them to provide a first class Business Management Service to the Franchise and it’s Dealers in Japanese language.
Reports to: Relevant Account Manager
Location: Shanghai


Main Duties

1.Allocated to an Account Manager who will be responsible for several franchises


2.Ensure that allocated tasks are completed to it’s conclusion


3.Review composite submissions and manage them through a validation process to a set deadline


4.Contact Dealership Accountant regarding queries from submissions and ensure resubmissions are received if required


5.Attend review meetings with the Account Manager to provide support and knowledge of submissions


6.Assist in checking all output reports before and after review with franchise


7.Attend training to develop knowledge, techniques and skills


8.Review and chase outstanding IT helpdesk calls to ensure completion, to enable franchise requirements to be met


9.Promote all additional ASE, audit, tax & marketing services to manufacturers and dealers


10.Provide general admin support to the Account Manager where required to ensure reporting requirements are met


11.Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships


12.Identify poor performing dealers and facilitate action plans to address the issues


13.Attend dealer visits to improve data accuracy and dealership profitability


14.Be able to plan and prioritise personal activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims - especially managing personal time and productivity


15.Develop the role in line with business needs


This role profile is not exhaustive, it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and the company would aim to reach agreement to the changes.


Knowledge/skills


1.Excellent Communication skills Both verbal and written in Japanese；


2.Highly organised; forward planning/diary management（Reviewing detailed financial reports）；


3.IT: advance micro soft office（DMS）


4.Strong influencing and negotiating skills


5.Japanese / Mandarin / English : fluent


Experience


1.Finance & Accounting Training for a qualification in a related discipline /Assistant Accountant or single site dealership accountant


2.Interest in Motor trade business / 2 years in motor trade; ideally a franchised motor dealership


Qualifications


Degree in Finance and Accounting from top university/Relevant business degree
