We are seeking a Web Designer – team leader to join our team.

Your role will include:
- Being responsible for the complete website design process/projects from web design and graphic design.
- Design and implement creative designs and graphics using HTML and CSS.
- Manage, organize, recruit and strengthen our design team in IT department.
- Set clear tasks and goals for all design team members and manage to keep deadlines.
- Work closely with our development team and provide high-quality design products.
- Work with product manager to build mockups and prototypes, establish and create style guidelines and style guide documents as project deliverables.
- Work close with marketing team to clarify the graphic design requirements and confer with them to discuss and determine design.
- Be responsible and work with other departments if they require any graphic design, business card design etc.
- Coordinate individual team member’s work schedules and leave requests to ensure proper coverage within a team in accordance with company’s procedures.
- Set a clear KPI for the design team’s development based on company value and development.
- Coaching the designers to fulfill the company’s required standard. Give enough support to train them to improve their skills/ability.
- Image retouching, color correction/calibration and printing

The candidate will have the following competencies:
- Be familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information or functionality. Responsibilities will include producing designs, prototypes, and various graphics for web sites and email campaigns.
- Graduated with design, art or any other relating education background.
- Highly skilled and experienced in using Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign and other graphic design software.
- Highly skilled in Dreamweaver / Flash / Fireworks and other applications for web design.
- Highly proficient in HTML/XHTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of a Software development methodology.
- Have an international-oriented flair for design and good attention to detail.
- Have genuine interests in web designing.
- Experienced in team management and development.
- Capability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willing to learn and be patient and passionate.
- High sense of responsibility and being a team player.
- With excellent written/verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English.
- Overseas experiences will be a plus.
- General interest in fashion/brands will be a plus.
