Job Description:

The Application Engineer will be:

· Responsible for all aspects of pre and post-sales engineering support of our customers and sales force including distributors and other channel partners.

· Assisting customers to reproduce and resolve customer technical support issues with the product engineering teams in headquarters.

· Providing front line technical support by phone and email, prepare and present technical information for customer training sessions.

· Producing demonstrations for trade shows and exhibitions.

· Diagnosing returned products.

Pre-requisites:

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

· Goal-oriented team-player with excellent inter-personal skills.

· Attentive to customers, ability to multi-task and possess excellent organizational skills.

· Motivated by new challenges and enjoy working in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.

· Previous experience in handling customers.

· Possess at least a Bachelor Degree (Master preferred) in CS/EE.

· Strong programming skills in C/C++, good knowledge of Microsoft Windows API and familiar with Windows/Linux OS.

· Experience in electronic imaging including CCD/CMOS sensor technology, optics and lighting or image processing software like Labview will be an advantage.

· Strong in spoken and written English.

· Able to travel at short notice.
