Job Description
We are looking for talented and passionate software engineer to develop software for innovative mobility tablet. You will be taking part on a team that develop and port the kernel drivers on new hardware. Activities include develop or port Linux drivers, modifying Android framework, interfacing with new hardware. The working scope includes but not limited to display, audio, camera, battery/charging etc.
Responsibilities:
? Bringup, development, port, debug and improve the performance of Linux Display driver for new tablet device hardware.
? Analyze device logs to identify problems and bug fixing.
? Follow established software processes and procedures, and contribute towards ever improving software quality.
? Debug hardware issues using oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Trance32 tools, etc.
? Coordinate with internal/international technology teams about issue fixes and solutions
Requirements:
? Strong C programming skills.
? Experience with embedded systems including compiling, loading, executing and debugging firmware and OS images.
? Familiar with Display technology and Android frame buffer, framework, different display interface and technologies, MIPI DSI, LVDS, HDMI, MHL, eDP.
? Familiar with embedded operating system, and the debugging skills, android experience is big plus.
? Minimum 3 years of working experiences in Linux Kernel and driver development, the experience in embedded Linux is a big plus.

? Minimum 2 years of working experiences in display software area especially for mobile devices is preferred,
? The experience working on ARM or x86 platforms is a plus,
? The ability to learn quickly with high motivation,
? Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Good written and verbal English skills are plus.
