Customer Quality Engineer

1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

• Senior Customer Quality Engineer is a customer window, it ensures customer quality expectation being met including but not limited to customer safe launch, customer lot control, customer change control, internal deployment of customer expectation, monitors and improves customer satisfaction, handles customer audit, resolves customer return and complain.
• This roles will take lead in advanced quality planning for new product launch, new product introduction including ensuring quality requirement being met in new production set up, customer approval, lesson learn deployment and etc.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

• Interpret specifications for products to determine performance requirements in order to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.
• Participate in FMEA, DV, PV and process launch teams as customer interface.
• Lead for product/process change management to get customer approval.
• Implement and maintain quality systems for new production introduction.
• Ensure customer complaints are quick resolved and meet QRCM/Customer requirements.
• Apply verbal and written communications skills in periodic and special reports/presentations both internally and with customers.
• Analyze data to detect quality problems and recommend corrective action.
• Conduct and develop preventative programs to reduce defects in major quality control areas.
• Coordinate and implement internal and external system & process audits, like customer audit, core manufacture audit, AQP audit, LPA……
• Lead “Advance Quality Planning” in introducing new products as quality perspective, lead lesson learn review from mother plant to prevent issues occur again during new launch.
• Focus on people in the team and training for new people, like customer onsite service and CQT.

3.KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求

• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Analytical problem solving, team building, and decision making skills (Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent).
• Six Sigma experience or equivalent is desired.
• Familiar with TS16949, APQP, GD&T, Q1 etc.

4.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求

• Educational: Bachelor Degree with major in mechanical or electrics related
• Experience: 3-5 years automotive manufacturing experience at least
• Experience with automotive quality-related activities such as SPC, DOE, FMEA.
• Minitab user
