1．OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB 岗位目的

• Diagnosis Engineer, responsible for failure diagnosis for assembly line units, 0km & warranty systems of B2E, steering. He / She is mainly in charge of new product software related introduction and transfer, electrical analysis, laboratory instructions developing and updating, production supporting, technicians and operators training.

2．MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责

• To ensure the successful industrialization of EPS product.
• Diagnosis external problems (0km & Warranty); assembly process control – diagnosis internal rejections, preparing corrective actions and submitting documentation (Problem/Fault Report, etc), ESD training &
• Provide Production support with regards to product updates, Diagnosis specification changes, continuous improvement activities, and equipment breakdowns. This role will involve an element of shift working to support planned production hours.
• Support development of cost effective product Diagnosis strategy, in conjunction with Quality, MSE, Manufacturing, Engineering and Estimating departments, which are appropriate to a product design, its safety integrity, application, environment and manufacturing processes employed to achieve a superior quality product.
• Prepare Diagnosis equipment quotations based on agreed Diagnosis strategies and specifications where available, and recommend sourcing of equipment.
• Produce Diagnosis equipment specifications ensuring optimum Diagnosis performance, minimum Diagnosis times, commonality of design where possible while satisfying accuracy, HS&E, reliability, maintainability, usability, flexibility requirements.
• Prepare technical equipment manual/design file to include equipment drawings, specifications, records of all major design decisions, Diagnosis results and change requests/authority etc.
• Validate and obtain approval/sign-off of Diagnosis equipment in accordance with department/company procedures and ‘best practice’ with documentation covering (as appropriate)

3. KEY COMPETENCIES 资格能力要求

• Bilingual in Chinese and English.
• Good electronics and software skills.
• Technical automotive electronics knowledge desirable.
• Software skills, typically C, C++, Lab View, to a good standard employing best practice principles and ensuring integrity.
• Knowledge of In-Circuit Diagnosis, Functional Diagnosis, Advanced Technology Engine platforms including GPIB, PCB etc.
• Understanding of Statistical data for Gage R&R.

3. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE教育及经验要求

• Educational: Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent academic credential
• Experience: 1-3 years experience in Automotive Electronics Manufacturing Diagnosis
• Driver’s License (more than 2 years) and can drive car
• NVH Subjective Evaluation
• Problem solving experience for quality issue and/or engineering issue (6-Sigma Green Belt is preferred)
