Shanghai Brisbane Education Training Centre
Tengda IEBMT (Australia) founded the Shanghai Brisbane Education Training Centre (SBETC) in 2002 for the delivery of language training, primary and secondary teacher training programs and industry training programs.
SBETC has also developed ongoing international educational and cultural exchange programs with various overseas schools and other international educational institutions around the world. Supported by both the Chinese and Australian governments, SBETC has trained over 5000 teachers in China and Australia, for the purpose of English language training as well as specific teacher-training programs.
SBETC has established long-term cooperations with numerous overseas universities and institutions, such as University of Melbourne, University of Queensland,Yale University and Hofstra University. SBETC enjoys a reputation of excellence through its unique collaboration and successful partnership with more than 20 local governments in China. SBECT also collaborate with international university and educational organization oversea, network spread all over U.S.A. Britain Germany Australia Austria Ireland Japan Korea and so on.

IE USA is one of the program of SBETC, it is a 3 year high school program.
At IEUSA we equip our students for life and study overseas through a modern international curriculum and the latest teaching resources and methodologies. Ours is a school where students and teachers collaborate in the opening of minds and the broadening of potentials.
OUR CURRICULUM combines core subjects required by major international education institutions in the USA with a supporting cultural framework including European Art History and Modern European Film, that gives our students the broadest introduction to the global culture they will require to live and study at leading overseas schools, colleges and universities.
When our students embark on studies in the West, they will be familiar with major schools of Western thought through their studies of European Art and Film, Architecture and popular culture. They will have experienced some Liberal Arts classes taught in French or German as well as English. They will have been introduced to a basic understanding of the origins of western culture through classes in Roman and European Renaissance Art and Architecture, as well as to the landscapes and histories of European art figures such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Le Corbusier and the Bauhaus, as well as to landmarks of the world’s great European cities. This will enhance and support their future travels abroad.


Candidate qualifications:
1. Native English speaker
2. Bachelor or above degree is required, TEFL, ESL, TESOL certificate holder is desirable;
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in Teaching English as a Second Language or teach other subject in English
4. Be interested in teaching with a good sense of humor and passion
5. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
6. Is flexible, reliable and responsive to the needs of the organization. Is action orientated and full of energy, enjoys working hard.

Job Description

- Work effectively with the SBETC to achieve course outcomes in assigned schools.
- Deliver high quality lessons, strictly adhering to the curriculum and course outline
- Prepare for each lesson in advance and maintain accurate records (lesson plans/student marks/ attendance etc.) as directed by SBETC.
- Provide feedback on academic progress to students/parents when requested.
- Maintain teaching resources in clean and usable order and keep all items securely stored

Position Details
Full time Science Teacher / Art teacher/ Math teacher (3 teachers needed)

Location: Guo quan Rd Line 10 (PuTuo District of Shanghai)
Start date: Preparation from June or July 2013, full time teaching from Sep
Student age: 16 to 18 years old
Class size: less than 25 students
Weekly teaching hours: maximum 22 class (45 minutes per class)
Working time:8 hours a day , Monday to Friday
Subject need to teach: Science (Biology/ Physics/Chemistry )

Will get support of materials and workshops training from USA cooperated school and all teachers will work as a team.
