Role Description
? Propose technical solutions for Soli's business team or external clients based on campaign or marketing needs.
? Provide architecture and implementation design for Soli's software products based on business and functional requirements.
? Research and recommend to management on technology choices, deployment strategies, as well as scaling and redundancy plans.
? Hands on implementation of the designed solution with a focus in architecture frameworks and performance optimization.
? Work in an iterative project environment, assign tasks to other team members. Assume overall delivery responsibility for assigned projects.
? Responsible for the overall quality of deliverables. Conduct reviews on detailed design, code, unit testing and documentation submitted by other team members.
? Assist the management team in improving team and project governance, as well as development and requirement processes.
? Provide mentorship and training to other members of the engineering team


Requirement
? Bachelor degree or above in Computer or Software engineering
? 10+ year software development experience
? 4+ year software architecture experience
? Experience in leading software implementation, task allocation and schedule tracking
? High availability software development & architecture experience
? Distributed cache system development / architecture experience
? High I/O database architecture experience
? Experience in database schema design and performance optimization on DB structure and scripts
? Cloud based software development & architecture experience
? SOA software development & architecture experience
? Rich client web application development & architecture experience
? Distributed file system development & architecture experience
? Ability to understand and interpret business and functional requirements. Willing to go the extra mile to find the most appropriate solution that fits the business needs.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese



Tech Skills Required
? Expertise in one of following server side programming languages:
C#/Java, C/C++
? Good knowledge in one of following scripting languages
python, ruby, javascript, perl
? Expertise in one of following database and technologies
SQL server, mysql, oracle, sqlite
? A TCP/IP & socket programming guru
? Good knowledge in following NOSQL and cache technologies
Redis, Memcache, MongoDB
? Expertise in one of commercial or community queue softwares and products
? Good knowledge in one of following Pass cloud platform
Windows Azure, Amazon, google app engine, Heroku, Openshift, Sinaapp
? Good knowledge in following front-end framework and technology
jQuery, backbone/AngularJS, bootstrap/foundation, websocket
? Good knowledge in one of distributed filesystem and technology (Hadoop, GFS, .etc)
? A design pattern guru and an Anti-pattern hater
? Good knowledge in Mobile development technology (andorid/ios)
? Good knowledge in one of workflow/BPM technologies and products.
? Good knowledge of CDN technology
? A windows/linux/unix master
