MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Check customer and legal requirements, identify gaps and transfer into Hardware PDS/ PDS-S
? Develop product concepts considering design rules and standards and comparatively rate different concepts (own, competitors, suppliers)
? Plan mechanical design task and support PJM in calculating development cost
? Perform technical calculations and simulations
? Design, document and order prototypes
? Create and change series documentation
? Perform risk assessment (e.g. Design FMEA)
? Support evaluation of product and tooling cost, follow up cost targets
? Interface and communicate with S&P, M&L, VS/CE and other functions to ensure concurrent engineering for process and supplier development
? Initiate and follow-up on patent analysis and identify ideas for patents
? Prepare and participate in design reviews
? Evaluate test and simulation results, release parts and devices
? Maintain serial devices

PROFILE:

? Bachelor/master degree in mechanical design related discipline
? 3-5 years mechanical part designing experience
? 3D design software experience, Pro-E is preferred
? Knowledge on FMEA/VA/VE/DFA/DFM
? Quick learning
? MS-office
? Good communication skill
? Team player
? Good English
