1.Perform material availability analyses, ongoing control and adjustment of MRP parameters and master data as well as expediting purchase and supply sources
2.Place purchase orders based on system generated purchase requisitions and in exceptions based on manual demands

3.Daily tracking and solving of exception messages and overdue POs Analyze future supply shortages and investigate remedies with the supplier, quality, EMD and planning Update the system after a suitable solution has been agreed, if necessary get approval for solution from manager
Maintain highly transparent communication to customers and interfaces during entire process time
Escalate and present situation to Team Leader if abovementioned measures are undertaken and unsuccessful

4.Monitoring of inventory levels and undertaking intelligent inventory management
in order to guarantee high supply levels with minimum inventories in a cost-effective way.
5.Process ECNs to ensure that vendors manufacture and supply according to the latest agreed technical standard

6.Operating or supporting an active supplier management scheme by passing on information
7.Actively contributing to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners and forwarding all relevant information and pointing out process problems
8.Enter vendor return orders based on NCR
