- For our Industry Sector in SHANGHAI, we are looking for a SISW I IA NX Ship Building Application Engineer.

What are my responsibilities?

- This position will play the role of an Application Engineer for the NX Ship Building QA team in Shanghai, China. Responsible for monitoring quality of the NX Ship Structure including Functionality Review, Test Plan, Test, Report, documentation Preparation and quality assessment.

The job duties are as follows:

- Perform both interactive and automated tests in NX software to identifying failures.

- Create test plan based on approved Functional Specification document.

- Perform interactive test based on approved test plan to identify gaps between implementation and design.

- Create additional automated tests once the implementation is completed.

- Perform regression tests to ensure no new issues are introduced as a result of code change.

- Report issues found in a timely fashion. Recommend priority of the issues using Ship Building knowledge.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Master Degree or above in Design and Manufacture of Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding Engineering

- Experienced Bachelor Degree in Design and Manufacture of Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding Engineering

- Proficiency in using NX, including NX Modeling/Assembly/Drafting etc, Proficiency with NX Ship Structure is preferred.

- Software Testing Experience; Know software test methodology, tools for testing, and product installation.

- Familiar with other 3D CAD software(s) is preferred

- Coding experience is preferred

- Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

- Good problem-solving and decision making skills

- Good written and verbal English skills. Ability to communicate effectively

- Team work and ability to produce quality work under pressure
