Key Focus:
? As a key member of project team, focus on new projects developing and management to ensure projects succeed, to supporting company business growing in China,

Accountabilities:
? Lead mechanical aspects of project from definition to manufacturing;
? Ensure applicable codes & policy to be implemented well with local design;
? Specification and qualification on mechanical field for best solution;
? Trouble shooting of mechanical discipline through project life cycle.

Responsibilities:
? Cost estimate on basic design phase and optimize localization purchase strategy;
? Work across functionally with process, instrument and electrical engineers;
? Prepare and/or review specification on mechanical field for purchase;
? Evaluate vendor’s bidding documents and clarify for technical issue;
? Review manufacturing drawing from vendors, verify with codes for approve;
? Visit vendor’s work shop with 3rd party for hold point inspection;
? Reviews and approves mechanical design and equipment specifications;
? Working with internal/external resources for discipline management;
? Key equipments and machines check on site for consistency;
? Site inspection during construction for quality control;
? Join commissioning team for project start up and hand over;
? Participate in trouble-shooting or start-up of operating facilities;
? May be assigned as the project coordinator for a particular project.

Requirements:
? BS in Mechanical Engineering, chemical or petrochemical industry field;
? Minimum 10 years experience in chemical industry, at least 5 years working experience in international company, plant or engineering;
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
? Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
? Good knowledge of engineering, including scope developing, cost estimate, definitive design work;
? Basic project manage skill, including cost control, reporting, purchasing, scheduling and change order;
? Experience on project commissioning, start-up and problem solving;
? Familiar with material, applicable codes, requirements and standards;
? Ability to balance & prioritize multiple task & projects, willing work with all levels of project/plant personnel;
? Willingness to travel or provisionally assign on a project site.
