Industrial Engineer Test Technology

Head of Industrial Engineering & Logistics

Main aim of job

Concept, realization, installation and start of End Of Line (EOL) testers equipment for the projects of the Asia region (window regulators, door systems, seat systems).

Support for technical modifications on the current serial equipment.

Continuous amelioration of the testing processes and technologies.

Specific duties and responsibilities

? Pre-concepts calculations during the acquisition of the new projects.

? Simultaneous Engineering with design, electronics, and test teams of the business division in order to get an easy, suitable and manufacturable process.

? Investigate and provide test concepts for the new asia projects in collaboration with the team and the ZFT-Test Experts in Germany.

? Insure the quality requirements through the use of methods such as P-FMEA, QCD, Poka-Yoke, Capability studies, ...

? Write the specifications related to the release concept.

? Follow the design and manufacturing of the equipment by external suppliers.

? Install and launch the equipment in the asia locations.

? Handover the equipment to the plant after completion of the project requirements.

? Evaluation and implementation of technical modifications during the project and the serial phases.

· Provide innovations, standardisation and technical ameliorations of the processes in collaboration with IE-Shanghai team, ZFT-specialists and the plants.

Provide support related to test technology to business divisions and plant.

Job requirement:

1. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Communication Engineering / Measurement technics

2. 5- years experience in the IE area / production / test area with test equipment or at an machine supplier . Automotive or high serial industry experience.

3. Experience on automotive ectronics requirements such as Bussystems (CAN, LIN), Car diagnostics; Experience in at least one programming language (Siemens PLC programming, C, C-Sharp, knowledge about Labview); Experience with maintaining series equipment or building equipments for mechatronic products is needed.

4. Able to react in different changeable situations and problems; Autonomie and responsability to meet the targets; Able to analyse problems and set action plans

Negociation with suppliers; Business trips within and outside China; Responsability for cost, timing and quality..

5. Fluent English, both writing and speaking.
