Job responsibilities



· Executes the technical development process with direction from a Sr. or Manager to ensure product adherence to defined quality standards established for specific Target owned brands.

· Provides technical specification guidance to business partners internally and externally through the product development cycle.

· Supports business partner accreditation program through training, monitoring and coaching.

· Assists in the training of TD team members regionally.



Position requirements



· 4 year Degree in Product Development with emphasis in textiles and clothing required or equivalent experiences in apparel, product development, engineering or related degree

· Minimum 2-4 years of experience

· Technical knowledge of garment construction, production techniques and specifications as applicable to merchandise area of expertise

· Experience in writing of product technical specifications required

· Experience in evaluating apparel fit required

· Knowledge of product manufacturing process

· Anticipates individual/team needs and adjusts proactively.

· Ability to break problems into pieces and identify cause and effect.
