Responsibilites:
1. Understand business & non-functional requirements from key stake-holders and translate into functional, engineering, & product requirements for the customer.
2. Lead the development & system procurement of backend services for Asia & Pacific region. Be able to define system requirements and develop backend system architecture diagrams and related technical specifications.
3. Support the development of business cases and track progress leading to program approval for Connected Service Feature offerings.
4. Lead product development of backend technology working with Connected Services product managers to provide value-add services for various regions.

Requirements:

1. Education Qualification:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

2. 4 years + experience

3. Professional Exposure (Technical Skills): IT Solution Architecture or software development

4. Preferred previous experiences:

Strong exposure to backend service development and in-vehicle embedded telematics technology.

5. Functional Skills:

a. 3 or more years of application architecture, solution design and/or product development experience.

b. Experience in application design and design/delivery of complex integration solutions and 1 years of practical programming experience with server side JAVA/JEE.

c. Practical experience working with:

? Large enterprise systems, application vendors and network environments.

? Message Oriented Middleware, Message Queues, Service Discovery and Service Orchestration

? Web-service Design, Enterprise Service Bus, Enterprise Integration Patterns

6. Behavioral Skills:

a. Strong communication and team player skills and working with global teams abroad.

b. Strong analytical and problem solving skills for overall architecture, application design.

c. Self-learner in backend architecture related application development best practices and trends.

d. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with support personnel, application development personnel, vendors and management.

e. Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and ability to work under aggressive timelines and sporadic heavy workloads.

f. Possess sustainability against changing demand from internal & external business requirements.

Be accustomed to operating agile and quickly to meet customer product demand.

7. Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Be familiar with the following technologies:

a. Experience with Web Services, Application Servers, Enterprise Service Bus and BPM.

b. Deep understanding of logical and physical data entity models and experience with SOA tools and concepts

c. Good knowledge of XML, SOAP, REST, UML, Message Flows, SOA Security, and Messaging concepts.

8. Any Others:

Highly fluent in English and Mandarin; able to communicate messages very effectively to internal and external organizations. Candidates should be flexible with work hours due to time differences between markets.
