Reports To: Group Director of Marketing
Position Overview:
Serve the need of our business, clients and colleagues by coordinating the day-to-day marketing & communication activities for AVC Social Media. The overall objective is to help achieve the marketing objectives and business strategy of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- To develop and execute a daily strategy for the “mechanical” maintenance, monitoring, and implementation of social media tools and notifications to attract online attention to the AVC brand.
- To develop, coordinate and disseminate daily updates of social media KPI’s with the site marketing preview centres and the other corporate functions within the Marketing team including Call Centre Operations, Events & Promotions, and Social Media & Database Management.
- To ‘push customer data’ resulting from social media activities to the Database Manager for use in the AVC ‘data warehouse’, with the performance objective of generating ‘qualified leads’ and maintaining key metrics for pertinent social media business data points. Produce reports for marketing management.
- Liaise with site level contacts to generate and communicate potential content to hotel social media manager(s)
- Organize marketing plan folders and documents provided by Group Director and prepare PowerPoint presentations as appropriate for illustrations to senior management.
- To assist in developing AVC Social Media strategy, define measurable goals across platforms and tools.
- To liaise internally and when applicable with agencies to set-up AVC social media profiles and accounts and set-up the Social Media tools selected as part of the approved strategy
- To report internally on Social Media trends and developments related to AVC activities including market and user trends, case studies and tools
Job Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to, active listening, problem solving, detail orientation, follow through, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player, in a personable and positive manner.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high volume environment. Able to perform well under deadlines and respond well to an environment of constant change.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English/or Putonghua languages.
- Potential to learn and effectively work with the key systems of the Group including Oracle, SPI.
- Efficient processing of office supply and stationeries purchasing.
