JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE AVAILABILITY AND USABILITY OF THE VARIOUS I.T. COMPUTER SYSTEMS (IE. UNIX, NT, iSeries, etc.) AND SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS (IE. EMAIL, ENTERPRISE BACK UP, etc.). ENSURE THAT SYSTEMS CAN RECOVER FROM DISASTER. PROACTIVE PREVENTION OF UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO THE SYSTEMS.


Duties & Responsibilities: % Of Time

1. Responsible for management, maintenance, design & deployment of computer
systems (servers and clients) and peripherals. Ensure that the computer systems
are available and usable.

2. Daily systems performance management, access monitoring and control,
and data monitor & back up. 20%

3. Support on troubleshooting for CIM related software and hardware issue
for service provisions. 10%

4. Involve in other business projects and perform other jobs that may be
assigned. 10%

5. Support & resolve any issues raised by the customers, and maintain good
relationship with the customers. 15%

6. Familiarize with the various OS principle and the network theory 15%

7. Perform technical and end-user training as required, and user-related planning,
research and consulting. 10%


Qualifications:

Education/Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree or above in computer or related field of study

Experience: 2 year or above experience

External & Internal Contacts: Both

Special Skills or Qualifications that are helpful: Working experience in system administration of NT servers, Linus/Unix server. Good problem solving skill. Good communication skill in Chinese and English, Teamwork oriented, and project management skill.
