Summary
Responsible for supply chain and production planning of Foreign Invested Enterprise (FIE) with headquarter in Germany.
Responsible for functional areas of:
- Supply-Chain Management (Purchasing / Warehouse / Dispatch)
- Production planning
Direct reporting line to General Manager in Germany.

Main Responsibilities
Purchasing:
- Guarantee availability of raw materials & parts for production
- Issue & follow-up purchase orders with local suppliers using ERP-system
- Issue & follow-up purchase orders to our German headquarter using ERP-system
- Source and develop new suppliers
- Increase percentage of local content

Supply-Chain-Management:
- Responsible for warehouse operation (goods income / quality check / dispatch)
- Organise commissioning and dispatch of goods to our customers using ERP-system
- Import / export from/to Germany
- Responsible for inventory control and stock picking

Production planning:
- plan the production in order to guarantee availability of final goods
- plan production-orders by using ERP-system
- meet scheduled delivery dates of products to our customers by managing staff in warehouse and assembly
- production planning is the basis for purchase orders to our suppliers


Qualification Requirements
- University Graduate, engineering degree or related degree
- A minimum of 5 years working experience in Supply-Chain-Management / Production Management
- Strong ERP/Business-Software skills (Kingdee, SAP, …)
- Excellent spoken and written English is a must
- Willing in to work in a Foreign Invested Start-Up company with strong growth potential
- Proactive, responsible, hands-on, problem solver
- Ability or experience to manage projects and motivate the production & admin team

We are a system provider for water pre-treatment systems offering a broad spectrum of various filtration systems, softeners, reverse osmosis and water distribution systems. As plant operations manager you will be responsible for our new production facility and warehouse in Shanghai-Minhang and you will report directly to the General Manager in Germany. We expect a strong growth in our China operations within the next years.
