Key Responsibilities and Activities:
?Be the leader of the logistics team to ensure proper process are in place for both internal work as well as external work. External work includes both interactions with other Ingredion departments as well as third party suppliers.
?Ensure regulatory compliance with HS code declaration for imported goods – both raw material and MRO for manufacturing as well as imported finished goods.
?Manage the warehousing operations through China, including onsite warehousing, offsite finished goods warehousing, and offsite raw material warehousing.
?Ensure proper control is done for raw material receiving, inventory management, and finished goods dispatch both on the shop floor level as well as in SAP system
?Manage third party transportation companies to balance cost with service, while ensuring minimum requirements are met at all times. Ensure controls are in place to manage fourth party logistics companies as well.
?Manage relationship with local CIQ officer
?Up to date on latest changes of regulatory requirement, custom declaration and tax rate.

Requirement:
?BA / BS degree required as a minimum.
?Experience in distribution and warehousing required.
?People management experience required.
?ERP system experience a must, SAP experience a plus.
?Experience in an unrelated function such as sales or manufacturing a plus.
?Experience in customs clearance a plus.
Fluent in written and spoken Chinese, competent in written and spoken English.
