Job Description

1 Learn existing manufacturing processes, become process and tool expert for specific processing steps

2 Responsible for innovation, new technologies development and optimize the existing process to improve production yield with high quality.

3 Establish project plans and milestone charts for the new project, then follow, track and weekly/monthly update the status.

4 Propose, implement, and document improvements to existing processes.

5 Identify critical parameters, and verify that important parameters in control for process validation

6 Implement statistical methods for process control and improvement

7 Identify new processing equipment that can be used to improved existing capabilities by work with equipment vendors to evaluate new equipment capabilities

8 Write work instructions for new processes, transfer processes to production line, train operators on new processes, perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirement

1 B.S. or advanced degree in an engineering or science related field

2 Experience using semiconductor equipment such as die attach equipment, die bonding equipment, pick and place equipment, high accuracy positioning systems, etc.

3 Knowledge of epoxies (UV and thermal), and epoxy dispense

4 Experience using microscopes, surface profiler and other metrology tools /softwares.

5 Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles for process control

6 Knowledge of camera systems and lens wafer fabrication is also desirable;

7 Good communication and presentation skills with English in oral and in written.
