Reports to: Service and Support Manager, China

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 6:00

Position Summary: Must work closely with the China Service and Support Manager and other China and US team members to achieve goals for Codonics in China. This position requires the ability, knowledge, and experience in the troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment, preferably printers, investigating causes for failures, and documenting repair information. Time will be split roughly 50% on equipment repair, 40% on technical support duties, and 10% on assisting sales opportunities and other follow up activities. Up to 20% travel outside office is required.

Qualifications: Technical degree is required, bachelor degree in related field is desired. English speaking and writing skills are necessary. Active Visa and Passport required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Schedule all repair activities to satisfy customer and corporate requirements, specifically ensuring that units returned for repair and units dispatched for exchange are shipped within set timeframes.
? Troubleshoot, test, and repair Codonics equipment both over the phone with customers and in the service facility.
? Evaluate, write, implement, and maintain documented procedures for necessary functions in the department
? Schedule activity, track component usage, and capture and report service related measures.
? Coordinate the facility to provide required throughput.
? Evaluate repairs made and act to support continuous improvements
? Communicate with customers, international service centers, and Codonics corporate Technical Support regarding problems and troubleshooting issues
? Frequent interaction with Corporate technical support and customer service personnel
? Provide Sales Support as required
? Additional duties may need to be performed as determined by the Director Technical Services
? Logistics regarding printers, parts and supplies
? Tradeshow support as needed
? Assure any third party contracted service centers are performing adequately and, with the assistance of the China Service Manager, create new plans and implement them to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction,
? Assisting with office IT equipment, demo equipment or other equipment in the office as required.

Skills:
Required: ？ Excellent interpersonal communication skills with experience in a direct supervisory role
？ A strong technical background with computers, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and, preferably, repair of electromechanical equipment
？ A strong desire to take part in a fast-paced and challenging environment
？ Comfortable using Word and Excel
Optional: Additional consideration will be given to candidates that have developed written departmental procedures, have experience training others, are knowledgeable in basic statistical process control, or that have operations related experience.
