Reports to: VP of Manufacturing, Codonics HQ

Hours: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Plant Manager is responsible for all aspects of Horizon production at the Codonics Shanghai Medical Device (CSM) facility.

? Responsible for inventory movement and accuracy
? Responsible for the scheduling and execution of both product final assembly and sub assemblies.
? Responsible for scheduling of builds based on sales demand, marketing forecasts and or management requests.
? Manage and maintain the rework of non-conforming product and sub-assemblies.
? Manage non-conforming material including return material authorizations and /or rework
? Maintain production logs which detail the components contained in and testing performed on each unit in accordance with relative Codonics policies and procedures. These logs will remain traceable to the individual product.
? Perform and oversee the testing of units to ensure the highest level of quality being produced.
? Train personnel to perform the assembly, testing and inventory tasks required based on procedures provided by engineering.
? Ensure that the product is created in adherence to GMP/SFDA guidelines and Codonics Inc. policies and procedures.
? Directly supervise personnel and be responsible for scheduling, performance reviews, hiring and directing personnel.
? Manage and maintain the repair of returned units from the field.
? Maintain employee performance and productivity metrics as necessary and provide annual reports as needed
? Ensure the facility and personnel are in compliance with all GMP/SFDA and Codonics policies and procedures.
? Responsible for creating an environment of steady improvement in process and procedure where suggestions for process and procedure improvement are encouraged, and approved changes are implemented effectively.
? Responsible for keeping the facility and equipment in good repair.
? Work effectively as the main point of contact with Codonics Engineering and Operations in Cleveland, Ohio.
? Foster a Codonics team spirit within the enterprise.
? CSM company representative for all internal and third party audits

Skills:

Required:
? Technician experience
? Troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
? Experience with GMP, SFDA and/or ISO 9000 guidelines

Optional:
? Experience with Thermal Printers

Education and/or Experience:

Education:
? Bachelor Degree
? Fluent in Chinese, both written and verbal
? Fluent in English, both written and verbal


Experience:
? Minimum of three years experience in direct supervision of employees in a medium volume manufacturing environment of electro-mechanical systems.
? Experience with inventory control systems
? Experience with ERP systems
? Experience with high precision electro-mechanical systems.

Misc.
? Valid Passport with no restrictions to travel between USA and China
