Job Summary:

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking for a product validation individual that possess the desire and ability to constantly acquire new technical expertise that can help our group during the Validation and Characterization of our products. In this critical role, you will work directly with silicon architecture, verification, IP development, Marketing, the Business Units and occasionally external customers.

The primary objective of Product Validation Engineering group is to move New Programmable Logic Product Design's from first silicon to manufacturing release as quickly as possible in order to maximize our revenue. While speed of execution is important, it is equally critical that the results from the PV group's validation and characterization be of excellent quality.

The PV organization is intentionally structured to be in the critical path for New Product Release and has high visibility throughout the organization. As a result, The PV group needs creative, high energy and innovative individuals in order to execute the tasks required to meet our objectives!

Responsibilities:

• Functional Bring-up, verification, validation and debug of any AC timing based FPGA/CPLD product.
• Interfacing with architecture, design, and pre-silicon verification teams in developing, modifying, and improving tests and set-up
• Develop and debug lab automation and flows to enable rapid validation of new products
• Evaluation of new products design functionality and performance to the target specification.
• Partnering with silicon architecture and Design Engineering to ensure device testability.
• Supporting internal and external customers on application issues for products released to production.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• BS 3+ years' experiences of ATE/Tester programming and debugging
• Understanding of AC and DC test methodology
• Good understanding of ATE/Tester hardware architecture.
• Load-board design experiences as a plus.
• Teradyne (Nextest) ATE experiences as a plus.
• Programming experience with C, or C++.
• Good data analyzing and documentation skill.
• Fluent verbal English.
