Booking.com (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, one of the support companies in China, is looking for a Trainer in Shanghai.
Summary
The role of the Trainer is to coordinate and implement the required training activities to the Shanghai Customer Relations Department and you will be responsible for coaching new and existing customer Relations consultants, retraining experienced customer Relations consultants’ and delivering new starter training to all new starters.
You will work 40 hours per week and if necessary weekends between 9am to 18pm. As Training & Quality is a small unit, you will be required to not only organize training, but also act as a co-trainer and coach for the department.
You will be a Trainer within the T&Q department and will report to the Center Manager and will work collaboratively with other offices to help structure Customer Relations training not only in the Shanghai office but also worldwide.
Main Responsibility
Coordination and implementation of Customer Relations training, assisting and accompanying new employees in the department
? Within a team, design and deliver effective soft skills training for Customer Relations worldwide
? Measure successes, developmental areas and provide feedback to new employees and Team Leader
? With the Center Manager determine the training needs of Shanghai in order to help drive missing skill gaps in Customer Relations Department
? Coach and mentor Customer Relations Consultant where necessary to aid their performance and development
? Work closely with the global T&Q department to ensure consistency for all Customer Relations training materials
? Other related duties may be assigned, as requested and required such as supporting the operation; communicating with customer where necessary
? To create an excellent first impression to all new starters to the department, remain professional at all times and ensure the Team Leaders are fully aware of their new team members development needs
? To hold and complete a handover to each Team Leader with a new starter, at the end of training
? Identify individual training needs, through the completion of a training needs analysis and design, adapt training to meet these needs
? During the 4 week initial training to complete quality email checks on the new starters, provide the Center Manager with feedback and identify coaching opportunities
? To work closely with the Center Manager to ensure the new starters lateness/absence and behavior is meeting expectations and has the ability to identify and address issues as they occur
? Deliver positive and constructive feedback to all levels within the Customer Relations Department
? Will be a point of contact for all new starters and will offer support to them throughout the training period and their probation
Requirement
? Experience in another training role or a training qualification is desirable
? Good communication and confident presentation skills
? Proven experience in coaching and mentoring skills
? Fluent in English & Chinese, both written and spoken
? Has a flexible work ethic
? Can demonstrate a motivational attitude and constant energy when training
? Effective time management skills and ability to work on own initiative
? Experience in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus
