Responsibility Description

The role encompasses commercial and technical aspects of customer relations for a defined project and clientele of a certain part of the program portfolio. Independently handling customer inquiries and orders. Analyzing customer requirements, developing technical solutions and quotations in close cooperation with BIW Sales department and other respected departments. Preparing the technical project plan and performing the commercial preparation for the project. Creating offers and quotations; cost based pricing in accordance with the company's costing and pricing guidelines. Independently handling of projects in accordance with objectives specified by project management or by the product group leader. Project development in accordance with technical criteria specified in the job order and internally defined commercial objectives. Taking active responsibility for orders during the processing phase, in the sense of intervening in the event of deviations and helping to find solutions, in cooperation with internal departments and also with field staff where applicable. Managing customer relations and providing continuous feedback and support to program management throughout the entire project life cycle. Reporting tasks, i.e. preparing/processing sales data from the assigned area as required for regular reporting in the Global Projects

Bachelors Degree

Fluent in English. German is preferred.

Experience with BIW and Tier 1 suppliers
