Key responsibilities:
- Supplier scouting and selection on the Asian market
- Support for qualification for identified potential suppliers in Asia
- Cost tracking of components and tooling from development until end of product life cycle to ensure profitability of programs
- Thorough monitoring of supplier costs and monitor development milestones (Sourcing, Change Management, requests for quotation, negotiations, litigation, etc.)
- Ensure the accuracy of all data exchanged and needed
- As a member of Emitec´s global purchasing team you will support the achievement of annual targets to reduce costs and identify additional improvement opportunities
- Regular business travel is expected

Profile:

- Higher technical education (Engineer with Master degree, e.g. Mechanical or Technical Sales) or Business Management degree with in-depth technical experience
- Practical experience of at least 3 years in procurement for projects or commodity for mass production, preferred in a bigger or leading automotive company. (Casting, molding, turning, machining, stamping…)
Skills:


- Experience in Project Management, analytical skills and negotiation methods
- Knowledge of automotive processes, quality and management systems (e.g. ISO TS, APQP…)
- Business fluent in English language; Chinese as native language or at lease business fluent
- MS Office advanced user skills
