POSITIONING IN THE ORGANISATION:
Reports to: Managing Director, IKEA (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
Matrix to: Legal Counsel, Asia Pacific

Travel Frequency: 2-3 days per month
PURPOSE OF FUNCTION:
-To secure, from a legal perspective, the optimal conditions for the operation and development of IKEA's overall business in China.
- To provide legal advice and services (both internal and external) that are effective and efficient. Improved performance with equal or lower costs for Business Units in China.
ASSIGNMENTS (main responsibilities):
-arrange for the provision of legal advice and counsel to all IKEA business units in China;
-controlling of legal costs;
-supporting IKEA Legal Affairs on projects and other substantive legal matters;
-acting as a link between external lawyers and IKEA business units in China;
-identifying, anticipating and mitigating legal risks to the IKEA country organization in China;
-assisting the management in dealings with authorities;
-compiling and analyzing of legal trainings to the business units;
-coordinating legal tasks in relation with internal project;
-provide legal support to IKEA business units in China, including legal advice, contract drafting and review, corporate governance, legal work processes and routines, management of external law firms;
-management Skill to lead a professional team.
Knowledge:
-LL.P with major in law of leading university in China
-At least 8 years working experience in reputable legal firm or multinational companies
-Good understanding/sense about China FIE and corporate law as well commercial contracts
-Passed Chinese Bar Examination
-Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Mandarin.
