职位描述
Fully competent in the subject matter or functional areas of assignment. Employs a broad application of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other fields. Sufficiently understands customer requirements and delivers results that meet customer needs. Provides innovative resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
Responsibilities:
? Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
? Devises new approaches to problems.
? Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Acts as a key contributor and/or technical leader within a project team.
? May direct or coordinate work of drafters, technicians and other non-exempt personnel.
? Performs research, design and development in such areas as mechanical, materials, heat transfer.
? Design and development of connectors, hardware and cable.
? Conducts feasibility studies and tests new modified designs. May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.
Job Qualifications
? BS in mechanical engineering or related four (4) year technical degree.
? 8-12 years of relevant work experience with a BS; 5-8 years of relevant work experience with a MS involving the use of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices, as well as knowledge of typical manufacturing processes; with filter design experience
? Knowledge of thermoplastic and thermo set materials and processes; machining, casting, forging.
? Proficiency in solid modeling software – SolidWorks - and SAP preferred;
? Must possess good oral/written communication skills;
? Requires the ability to regularly contact, influence and negotiate with both internal and external individuals on complex issues; and
? Must be able to respond to inquiries and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
