Project Engineer

Responsibility

1. Maintain product CAD model database.

2. Communicate with headquarter and contracted manufacturer to update/modify design as needed.

3. Control of design change in line with Company standard procedures.

4. Test, debug, and validate complex assemblies.

5. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine the optimal direction to meet the design requirements.

6. Lead project to meet schedule within budget.

Requirements:

1. BEng (Mech/EE/Mechatronic) or equivalent required; advanced degree is an advantage.

2. Minimum 5 years experience electro/mechanical product design, and manufacturing of complex interrelated systems, including 3+ years experience developing high volume consumer products.

3. Candidates with 8+ years experience will consider as Senior Project Engineer

4. Expert knowledge of injection molding and plastic part design.

5. Relevant experience in

a) Discrete analog circuit design such as motor driver circuit and battery charging.

b) Microcontroller-based digital system

c) High-volume/low-cost consumer product design and manufacturing experience.

d) Schematics and printed circuit board layout using EDA tools.

e) Infrared sensor design solution, WiFi application

6. Proficiency in Pro/E is a must.

7. Experience with manufacturing practices, and communicating effectively with remotely located design and manufacturing partners.

8. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

9. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

10. Frequently travel in China and occasionally oversea travel are required.

11. Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
