Director Supervisor/Title:Manager

Summary of the Role:Perform Business Requirement Analysis in ME/FTO Area

Main responsibilities:

· Interface with local business partners to gather and define IT requirements to support the ME/FTO business growth and strategy

· Take the lead from functional aspects to understand the ME/FTO application portfolio e.g. Virtual development, Geometry assurance, Pilot plant, test labs, Cycle Planning, and etc.

· Work with business and IT teams in concept study and deliver projects through Gate 2.

· Work closely with the Volvo Cars China ME/FTO IT Operation and project teams to deliver applications, support for local business, and address their requests in the ME/FTO space

· Work closely with central team to understand global processes and standards and make sure they are carried out in China

· Be the bridge between the ME/FTO business and IT. Represents IT to business and represents business to IT

· Support budget planning and tracking

· Take responsibility from the BDS aspects of the governance and management of specific regional projects, for example, projects to be delivered in China that require clear guidance and leadership from the China BDS in ME/FTO area



Position Requirements:Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position



Leadership:

· Good communication skills to build connection with business customers and IT teams of China and central IT

· Good documentation skills and process-oriented

· Excellent English writing skills

· Delivery-focused to develop and manage work plan throughout project life cycle

· Drive for results. Work under limited supervision

· Ability to work with diverse cultures and virtual teams



Functional / Technical:

· Business Analysis / Requirements Analysis experience

· Project/portfolio management experience

· Working knowledge of generic software development process - with focus on the ID and Assess and project planning / deployment

· Good knowledge of the Product Development / Engineering generic business process

Academic Qualifications:Bachelor or Master in computer science

Experience Required :4 years +
