INVISTA's Performance Surfaces Business in Asia Pacific is currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of Fiber Consultant, Performance Surfaces, West China.

Report to: Regional Fiber Consultant Manager, Performance Surfaces, AP

Location: Chengdu

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead pull through initiatives for INVISTA's yarn specifications in Western China market including Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet, Qinghai and Xinjiang
Enhance brand awareness of Antron® fibers and increase market share in assigned territories through effective business and marketing planning
Demonstrate ownership of the respective territories through planning and execution of Antron® and INVISTA growth strategies
Provide consultative advice on fiber specifications to the entire value chain of customers including architects and designers
Network and establish good relationships with carpet mills and dealers, architects, designers, end-users and industrial associations in assigned territories
Conduct presentations and respond to queries on fiber products
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree with 5 -10 years' working experience in MNCs preferably the material/interior-related industry
Experience in marketing type activities such as pull through and securing specifications from the end-users or experience in project coordination in the marketing or sales function
High ethical standards to comply with company policies and compliance standards as well as local laws/regulations
Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
Have strong interpersonal skills, be capable of capturing information from customers and marketplace initially and sensitively
Have a high commitment to service excellence and a good team worker
Apply the judgment, and sense of urgency; Work independently, and display flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
Good time management skills and able to travel up to 30% of the time
