Responsibilities:
Develop and localize components for plant localization project
Work with Toronto and Poland sourcing/engineering team for export project
Provides sourcing support for all New Product Introduction requests
Responsible for supplier base development: phase in good supplier and phase out problem suppliers
Determines best cost sources of supply
Conducts contract negotiations and establishes purchasing agreements
New supplier evaluation
Develops plans to meet annual cost reduction targets;
Manages ongoing relationships with suppliers to support/enhance material strategies

Qualifications:
-Gender: Male
-Bachelors Degree: Engineering with a minimum of 5 years - experience in Strategic Sourcing in a manufacturing company;
- Experience in HVAC related commodity: electrical component, motor, blower, coil, sheet metal parts , copper etc.
- Familiar with low volume with multiple parts sourcing.
- Self-motivator who works effectively in team or independent work environments
- Ability to identify and implement cost savings and process improvements
- Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to present results clearly and compellingly -Ability to negotiation and influence others;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Good English
