Regional Quality Director

Shanghai BurmingNash Consulting is a leading provider of HR Consulting Services, we provide professional service within the industry and focuses in Shanghai. Now we are looking for a Regional Quality Director for transmissions products in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Based in Shanghai, potential 15 % travel within PRC, 5% travel Internationally.
• Lead Total Quality Program and Strategic Plan across the PRC production centers.
• Lead management, training and performance of all SQE, Audit and Lab Staff
• Interact with the customers domestically and internationally, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain in the resolution of customer complaints
• Support new program launches with AQP, including PPAP, DFMEA and PFMEA
• Analyze Total Quality Metrics (TQM), proactively identifying improvement opportunities
• Champion Six Sigma teams, working with the factory to resolve customer field issues
• Teach, Train and Lead AQAP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, QFD, 6S, GR&R, 8D

Key Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years minimum quality leadership experience in the production of drive axles, transmissions, undercarriage or gears, or a related Master’s Degree with 6 or more years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience in conducting and leading Capability Studies, Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility ) Studies and a strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control tools
• TS16949 compliance
• Knowledge of DMAIC, Six Sigma, Root Cause, 5 Why, and other proven problem solving tools
• Familiar with most Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent communication skills both written and verbal, Mandarin and English
• Capable of a professional rapport working with Suppliers and Customers in the monitoring and follow up of prototype test equipment.
