We are looking for a Maintenance and Engineering Manager for Electrical & Instrumentation for a global leading chemical company based in Shanghai. The working location will base in Jinshan district.

The key responsibilities:

1. Ensures that all activities carried out as well as those he/she delegates his/her staff are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted;

2 Manages the staff of his/her section;

3 Ensures that working conditions are applied according to internal procedures;

4 Ensures the development of the staff under his responsibility;

5 Manages the activities relating to the maintenance and engineering for all electrical & instrumentation equipment and ensure that these are done according to the HSE standards of the Company and to the local legislation.

6 Participates to developing internal politics and procedures relating to the management of Maintenance and Engineering and oversees their implantation, their execution and compliance;

7 Is responsible for his/her section contribution to the achievement of the mission of the company and ensures that members of his/her section adhere to company’s values.

8 Participates to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning a new plant;

9 Participates to set up and implement Equipment Care plans, spares parts selection, mandatory inspection plan based in Chinese legislation.

10 Providing Technical Support and expertise to Maintenance Execution;

11 Contributes to training sessions for Maintenance and Operations;

12 Participates to define scope and suppliers for maintenance contracts;

13 Contributes to the yearly maintenance budget, as well as the long term asset budget;


PROFILE

q Required Qualifications:


§ Holds a bachelor degree in electrical or automatic engineering;

§ More than 8-year experience managing electrical and instrumentation equipment in refinery or petrochemical plant.

§ Electrical work permit network access and Special Operation Certificate

§ Leadership;

§ Capacity to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationship;

§ Excellent oral and written communication;

§ Skills in people and project management;

§ Integrity and professional ethics;

§ Knowledge in electrical and instrumentation equipment;

§ Fluent in Mandarin and working knowledge of English.


Others requirements

§ Accept training in Overseas and binding with training agreement.

§ Previous experience in petrochemical, refinery or nuclear plants.

§ Wide knowledge about transmitters, control and safety valves, analyzers, PLC, DCS, etc.

§ Wide knowledge about electrical installations, electrical motors, transformers, VFD, MCC etc.

§ Familiar with local legislation and mandatory inspections on electrical equipment in hazardous areas
