Responsibility:

Create drawings for parts and products
? In event of a inquiry (internal or from clients) the engineer shall receive a detailed "inquiry description" based on which the product should be animated with solidworks in following steps:
1. General shape and function structure
2. Talk to factory about manufacturing process and confirm that it is possible to manufacture it
3. Research parts and materials, e.g. what kind of lock is available in the market, what kind of screws to use, what screws are available
4. Final drawing including all parts in their real shape, size and detail
5. Ask Purchasing to get price

Cooperate with factory to find the suitable way of production
? Once Purchasing has confirmed which factory to buy the product from, following items have to be confirmed by the engineer with the factory - according to which the "product data sheet" should be created
1. Manufacturing process - step by step
2. Materials - e.g. what material is used for welding, for screws for lock
3. Packing

Prepare Product Datasheet
? A data sheet must include the following
1. 4 drawings of the product
a) Top (with dimensions)
b) Side (with dimensions)
c) Front (with dimensions)
d) 3D
2. Detail description of each part (material, strength, size)
3. Manufacturing process step by step
4. Product Net weight and Gross weight (gross weight = including packing materials)
5. Revision date (date when it has been modified)
6. Depending on product such information as life time of the product and relevant official tests that were done should be mentioned e.g. CE
7. Final product pictures

Support sales department with drawings and technical data
? Through customer question, new information about the product may be known - this information need to be added to the data sheet (create new revision with date)

Prepare instruction sheets:
For each product there should be a simple instruction sheet/user manual for assembling and usage of the product.

Requirement:
Very good in using solidworks (sheet metal, rendering)
Fluent in English
