Position Title: IT Network Engineer
Report Line: Associate Director, Global IT

This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components. A Network Engineer performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user politics and requirements. The IT Network Engineer also provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations, either internal or remote services.

Responsibilities:
1. Keep an understanding of the basics behind the Internet and all related services (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, etc.)
2. Configure and setup Cisco Firewalls, Switches, Routers for access to vital business applications
3. Design, setup and configure complex switching environments with several vendors(Dell, Huawei, Juripes, Fortinet)
4. Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
5. Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networks(LAN) and wide area networks(WAN).
6. Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, DHCP, Ether-Channel (Bonding), etc.
7. Maintain the VoIP network(CISCO CME)
8. Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
9. Maintaining multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities
10. Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
11. Responding to inquiries from staff, managers, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
12. Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
13. Troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.

Requirements:
1. 4-8 years working experience in networking.
2. Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required
3. Current CCNA and/or CCNP certification (CCIE is preferred)
4. Cisco Unified Communication Manager configuration and infrastructure a plus
5. Windows Server, windows linux, database is a plus.
6. Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support
7. Maintain network security through proper configuration of Fortinet Firewalls
8. Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
9. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
10. Team player, ability to train others.
11. Cloud technology knowledge including Amazon, Rocuspace, Virtualization, OpenStack etc…
