Division: Enterprise Storage Division

As a software design engineer, you will join a rapidly growing team of professionals in the development and verification of real-time software and firmware for storage ASICs

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with global architecture, hardware, validation teams to develop the full storage system solution

Analyze business & technical requirements and then create the software and firmware module designs

Develop storage device driver on Linux and/or Windows operation system platform

Test and debug the issues found as well as provide comprehensive analysis

Participate in specification, design and implementation review with peers

Write and review engineering documentations

Qualifications:

Master or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

5+ years working experience on Linux kernel and device driver development

Solid C or C++ and multi-thread programming and debugging skills

Familiar with storage protocols, especially SCSI, SAS, SATA, and PCI Express are plus

Understand WDM or WDF architecture or Windows kernel are plus

Previous experience in firmware development are plus.

Good spoken and written English
