Job descriptions:

• To work with the designers (whatever in-house or/and freelance)
• To understand the drawings and concepts for an efficient follow-up
• To initiate and follow the collection development
• Market & trend understanding (innovations & competitors benchmarking)
• Fabrics sourcing & selection proposal
• Technical sheets update with the designers, for the product team and suppliers
• To instruct & liaise with suppliers (China & Vietnam) for:
• Trims & accessories selection & development, prices, lead-time, MOQ…
• Final prototypes, prices, MOQ and production lead-time
• To confirm and control the schedule of prototypes development, salesmen samples and bulk production together with the logistics & buying teams
• Pre-production inspection (QC)
• Product support to the marketing team (workbook, catalogues & website)
• After-sales service, repairing assistance & negotiation with suppliers

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in the Outdoor industry as merchandiser-developer
• Experience in production (factory) will be a plus
• Experience in an International brand would be a plus
• Design skills and computer skills (Illustrator)
• Strong product sensibility
• Business English level
• Able to work under pressure with deadlines with regular business trips
