FPT Industrial is the company of CNH Industrial Group dedicated to the development, production and sale of powertrains for On-Road, Off-Road, Marine and Power Generation applications.
The company employs some 8,000 people on a worldwide basis, localized in 10 plants and 6 Research & Development centres. The existence of a commercial network of 100 dealers and more than 1.300 service points ensures the presence of FPT Industrial in more than 100 countries.
The wide range of products (6 engine families with a power from 31 Kw to 740 Kw and transmissions with a maximum power from 300 to 500 Nm) and an important focus on Research & Development activities make FPT Industrial one of the players on a worldwide basis in the industrial powertrains sector.
In 2005, FPT started the business operation in China with the regional office in Shanghai. In 2007, FPT set up joint venture SFH (SAIC FIAT Powertrain Hongyan) with SAIC to locally produce Cursor 9 engine.
