Position description
We are looking for a Project Manager for Job rotation to Wärtsilä China Ship Power, 2-Stroke to teach and strengthen our 2-Stroke Project Management team in China. Projects consist mainly of licensed 2-stroke engines or bundled main engines with propulsion equipment
The location of this position is Shanghai in China.
Project Manager has a total responsibility of projects within the Ship Power project management and leads and coaches the project teams. Project Manager also participates in the sales process and is a vital link in customer communication and relationships during project execution.


Requirements
- Technical background (M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering)
- Willingness to actively develop own and others skills within the project management knowledge areas as well as system integration area
- Fluent skills in English, both oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure
-Good knowledge and experience working on 2-Stroke projects
- Excellent co-operation and team leading skills
- Problem solving, decision making and making things happen
- Being forward thinking and goal focused
- Readiness to travel as required


Education:
- Technical background (M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering)
- Fluent skills in English, both oral and written


Experience:
- 3-10 years Project Management experience
-Good knowledge and experience working on Wärtsilä 2-Stroke engines
- Project management experience, system integration and technical knowledge of propulsion will be considered as an important merit
