·Perform complex product evaluations of components and system to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existing power transmission units.

·Oversee engineering projects as assigned to determine the performance, reliability and durability of components and product systems

·Coordinate with design engineering to ensure timely resolution of product issues/projects

·Analyze lab test results and perform failure analyses. May coordinate with testing in the field to gather data relevant to equipment operation

·Prepare reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component design (size, strength, material, etc.) and makes recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality

·Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and manufacturing objectives for specific products

·Mentor engineers and assembly teams in the development and utilization of end of line product testing

Requirements 要求

·B.S. Degree in Engineering with emphasis in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines or equivalent work experience.

工程类理学学士，机械和/或电气专业或同等工作经验。

·4 or more years of engineering product development and lab testing, or a related Master’s Degree with 2 or more years of work experience.

4年以上工程产品开发和实验室测试经验，或2年以上工作经验的相关硕士学位。

·Experience with Somat, Samtec and/or other data acquisition devices

有Somat、Samtec和/或其他数据采集装置的经验。

·Experience with Simulink and/or other data acquisition logging and analysis software

有利用Simulink和/或其他数据采集记录和分析软件的经验。

·Familiar with most Microsoft Office applications.

熟悉大部分微软办公软件。

·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Mandarin and English

普通话和英语具备出色的书面和口头沟通能力。

·Capable of a professional rapport working with Suppliers and Customers in the monitoring and follow up of prototype test equipment

·Previous experience with off road equipment

Based in Shanghai, potential 15 % travel (must travel Internationally)

Magelec Propulsion is a complete electric powertrain manufacturer, producing permanent magnet axial flux motor generator units, IGBT and SiC MOFSET based motor control units and geared transmissions. We create the most power dense, light weight axial flux powertrain solutions in the world. Developed for motorsport or daily commercial duty, out compact, light weight designs reduce powertrain mass, improving vehicle performance, increasing payload and range.

Omni Gear and Magelec Propulsion are from the Omni Powertrain Technologies Family. OPT’s strong presence in existing markets gives us the ability to leverage these relationships with itsaxial flux motors and inverters increasing the platform value 2-3x over gearboxes alone.
